A Living Palace
This captivating building, constructed at the end of the 18th century, became the property of the Candiotti family in 1819. Today, it belongs to the Municipality of Foligno. The main floor serves as the decorative heart of the palace, where grandeur and art come together in spectacular harmony.

The palace is home to the headquarters of the Quintana Tournament Organisation and the Quintana Museum, an interactive multimedia space that immerses visitors in the 17th-century atmosphere of the event. Held annually in June and September, the Quintana is accompanied by a historical parade in baroque costume. The winning district is awarded the Palio, a unique work of art, which is displayed exclusively in its headquarters. With the help of cutting-edge technology, the Impossible Exhibition brings these works of art to life. This innovative display respects the strict tradition of safeguarding the Palio within the sacred walls of the districts’ buildings while making it accessible and ‘possible’ everywhere.
